There is a debate on IF you really NEED full UV protection for your collectibles or not. Standard acrylic blocks some UV and we won’t go into it all here but understanding all the different ranges of UV is very confusing. But the bottom line is this….would you rather have MORE UV protection or LESS UV protection? We think MORE – of course! That’s why we chose the best UV protection available. We aren’t here to settle the debate about is standard acrylic enough UV protection or should you have upgraded acrylic to block as much UV light as possible – the same acrylic used by museums for priceless art – well, we think more is better, especially when it doesn’t cost extra.
